Rishikesh (in Uttarakhand) is located in northern India’s foothills of the Himalayas. It is also known as the Gateway to the Garhwal region. It is surrounded by three other districts: Haridwar, Tehri Garhwal, and Pauri Garhwal. Rishikesh City is also known as “The world capital of Yoga.”
Ganga’s holy river rises in the Himalayan glacier- Gangotri in Uttarakhand and flows through various serene jungles, hills, and significant pilgrimage roots. It comes to the plane at Rishikesh, so the rafting stretches made by Ganga come just before Rishikesh. This place welcomes everyone to celebrate the fun of rafting, whether you are traveling with family or friends.
Rishikesh is now a well-established destination for adventure sports like River Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Zip Line, Giant Swing, Rappelling, Trekking, Kayaking, and Camping. Overnight stay at the camps makes the rafting adventure tour more memorable and enjoyable.
Rafting camps are located away from the crowded places on the banks of the River Ganga or inside the forest locations. Camp Majestic, Camp Crossfire, Camp Ganga View, Explore Himalaya, Mercury Himalaya, Jungle Adventure Camp and many more are some of the famous camp and raft organizers companies at Rishikesh.
Note: Always book your river rafting tour with authorized and government-approved guides and companies.
