A weekend trek plan including Chopta, Chandrashila, and Deoriatal is enough to do a miracle in the hustle-bustle of your life. The Chandrashila summit trek can be run throughout the year. It is also considered one of the moderate treks in the Indian Himalayan region (Uttarakhand).

Nestled at an elevation of 2,680 m above sea level and surrounded by deep forests of Oak, Deodar, and Rhododendron. The Chandrashila summit trek is one of the most amazing treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. It offers you scenic views of luxurious meadows and imposing Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi at 7,817 meters, Trishul at 7,120 meters, Kedarnath at 6,831 meters, Bandarpunch at 6,316 meters and Chaukhamba at 7,138 meters.

This trek brings you to the Tungnath peak at a height of 3,680 m and it is also famous for its highest Shiva Temple in the world. According to a myth, this temple is 1000 years old. From Tungnath, there is an extra 1 km trek to the Chandrashila summit, from where you can capture the beauty of the Garhwal Himalayan region with lush green surroundings and snow-capped mountains.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar – Ukhimath (1470 Meters) (225 Kms/7 hrs).

Arrive at Haridwar by train in the morning. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and drive directly to Rishikesh. Freshness and have a delicious breakfast at Rishikesh in rooted camp. Post-breakfast drives to Ukhimath via Devprayag. After arriving check in at the hotel/camp dinner and overnight stay at Ukimath.

Day 02: Ukhimath – Mastura – Deoria Tal (2438 Mts / 7998 ft).

Arrive at Haridwar by train in the morning. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and drive you directly to Rishikesh. After freshness, have a delicious breakfast at Rishikesh in rooted camps. Post breakfast, drive to Ukhimath via Devprayag. After arriving at Ukhimath, check in at the hotel/camp, dinner, and overnight stay at Ukhimath.

Day 03: Deoria Tal – Chopta (12 Kms Trek – 2700 Mts).

Early in the morning, your trek will start to Chopta by crossing verdant meadows. It is a 12 km trek. Reach Chopta and overnight camping stays here. In the evening explore the picturesque beauty of snow-capped Himalaya.

Day 04: Chopta – Tungnath (3680 Mts) – Chandrashila (4100 Mts) – Chopta.

In the morning, post breakfast, drive from Ukhimath to Mastura. Trek starts from Mastura to Deoriatal through deep Rhododendron forests. Trek distance is 5 km and it will take about 3 to 4 hours to be completed. From Deoriatal, look out to see the beautiful view of the Chaukhamba peaks. Dinner and overnight stay at Deoriatal.

Day 05: Chopta – Haridwar (240 Kms).

Early in the morning post breakfast drive back to Haridwar. Drop railway station.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

All reservations are deemed tentative till an advance of 50% payment is received.

The 50% advance payment is to be disbursed within 1 day (24-hour cut-off) of making a reservation.

Balance of 50% at the time of arrival. If the advance payment is not received within the specified time, the reservation stands canceled.

Please note: –

In case of a rafting trip on the day of arrival, the guests are advised to reach camp by 11.30 AM. The last rafting session for the day will start at 1.30 PM. The day rafting trip will be canceled if the arrival is later than 1.00 pm.

We regret we cannot compensate where the performance of our duty is affected by force majeure, any incident which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, anticipate or avoid. Such events may include war, terrorist activity, unexpected government acts, riots, civil strife, natural disaster, border closures, fire, road closures, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, land and air travel, extreme weather conditions, and other similar incidents beyond our capability to manage.

The company follows a no-refund policy. In case of cancellations due to genuine reasons, the amount paid will be adjusted against future trips.

Personal accident Insurance is advisable when booking an adventure tour. Persons not fit for trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy, or mental illness are advised not to participate in rigorous travel programs. The insurance should cover death, injury, theft of the client’s personal property, and medical expenses. Activities with greater risk such as White-water rafting and Mountaineering should be covered.

Cancellation Clause:

Prior information of any change in the number of guests or cancellations is mandatory. Camp Majestic reserves the right to levy service/ cancellation charges as per details below (Booking Amount 10% non-refundable)

If the cancellation is made:

– 2 weeks in advance 25% Cancellation charge

– 1 week in advance 50% Cancellation charge

– Less than a week 100% Cancellation charge
