Vashisth Cave
This cave is located on the bank of the Ganga River and is an ideal place to enjoy the calmness of nature. It is known to be where Sage Vashisth meditated many years ago. The cave is now maintained by the Swami Purushottam Society. It is just 6 km away from Shivpuri. You must climb about 200 steps to reach this cave, which is quite challenging. The cave is open from 7:00 am in the morning till 6:00 pm in the evening.
Neelkanth Temple
This temple is situated at a height of 1330 m. It is about 23 km away from Shivpuri. Two rivers, Pankaja and Madhumati, meet here, creating a beautiful view. The temple lies in the middle of three valleys viz. Manikoot, Brahmakoot, and Vishnukoot.
The temple celebrates MahaShivratri (Feb/March) and Shravanna Shivaratri (July/August), during which devotees trek from Haridwar to this temple.
