The tourism department of Uttarakhand decided after checking the water level on Ganga that the small rafting session from Brahmpuri to Rishikesh can be started. If the water level does not increase within 10 day all stretches may open.

Now after the last survey of Ganga river by the tourism department Uttarakhand decided to open the small rafting session.

On the first day, more than thousands of persons did river rafting on Ganga and enjoy the white water river rafting in Rishikesh.
